SpamPunch Privacy Policy

Ridge Four Holdings, LLC ("Ridge Four," "we," "us," or "our") provides the SpamPunch Android application ("SpamPunch" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how SpamPunch accesses, uses, stores, and protects information.

SpamPunch does not upload, sell, rent, share, or externally store your contact list. Your contacts remain on your device.

1. Information SpamPunch Accesses

Contacts. With your permission, SpamPunch reads the names and telephone numbers saved in your device's contacts. This access is necessary for the App's core purpose: determining whether an incoming caller is a saved contact. Contact information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Ridge Four or any third party.

Incoming call information. When you select SpamPunch as your default Caller ID and spam application, Android's Call Screening service provides the incoming telephone number needed to determine whether the call should be allowed or rejected. SpamPunch processes that number locally. SpamPunch does not record calls, listen to calls, access call audio, or transmit incoming telephone numbers to Ridge Four or any third party.

Safe-list numbers and App settings. Telephone numbers you manually add to the Emergency Safe List, along with settings such as whether blocking or a temporary pause is enabled, are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to Ridge Four or any third party.

2. Information We Collect

Ridge Four does not receive or collect personal information through the current version of SpamPunch. The App does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party data-collection software.

3. How Information Is Used

Information accessed on your device is used only to provide the features you choose to enable, including:

  • allowing calls from saved contacts;
  • screening or rejecting calls from numbers not found in your contacts;
  • allowing numbers you place on the Emergency Safe List; and
  • remembering your SpamPunch settings on your device.

4. Selling or Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share contact lists, incoming telephone numbers, safe-list numbers, or App settings with advertisers, data brokers, affiliates, service providers, or other third parties.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

SpamPunch settings and safe-list numbers remain locally on your device until you remove them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall SpamPunch. SpamPunch does not maintain a remote copy. Calls rejected through Android's Call Screening service may remain visible in your device's call history; that history is maintained by your device's telephone system and can be managed through your Phone application.

6. Permissions and Your Choices

You control whether SpamPunch may access your contacts and whether it is selected as the default Caller ID and spam application. You may revoke Contacts permission through Android Settings or select a different Caller ID and spam application at any time. SpamPunch cannot perform its core call-screening function without the required permission and system role.

7. Security

SpamPunch minimizes privacy risk by processing contact and call-screening information locally rather than sending it to an external server. You are responsible for protecting access to your device through the security features provided by Android and your device manufacturer. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but SpamPunch is designed to avoid external storage of your contact and call-screening information.

8. Children's Privacy

SpamPunch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when SpamPunch's features or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. If a future version changes how personal information is collected, used, or shared, we will provide any notice or consent required by law and applicable platform policies.
